If you are searching the internet because a loved one that you know is taking someone elses prescription pills and it has brought you to this point, please seek help for them immediately. Individuals who are consuming someone elses medications without a prescription are NOT invincible and you may lose them to one pill or a lethal combination.
We encourage those who struggle with addiction in loving memory of our son, Brandon Anthony Dunn. He died from a lethal combination of prescription pills on June 9th 2007. One of the medications was his, the other was not. The man who distributed the pill that killed our son recieved a miniscule 22 days in the county jail. This is due to the felony scales of Oregon. Therefore, we are currently working to change those laws. A new law has passed known as SB-728 which will now give a minimum of two years if somebody is killed through illegal distribution of a schedule two medication.

Methadone, OxyContin, Fentanyl, Percocets, and other narcotics continue to cause addiction, abuse and death in this country. Yet, they are still marketed and distributed in massive amounts providing a mainstream for addiction and sales on the streets.
Our new proposal is......
1) posession by consumption
2) a mandatory minimum sentence of 90 days for the posession of a schedule 2 drug.
3) 500 hours of community service for posession of a schedule 2 drug.
4) mandatory reporting of schedule 2 drugs if overdose occurs. (like the hospitals and corrections do with alcohol and methanphetamines if the meds that are in their system are not their own)
5) A mandatory minimum sentence of two years when somebody dies from the illegal distribution of a schedule 2 drug. (DONE)
