Weight & Information

All  of our horses are fed and watered prior to delivery. Once the horses are in your care, you will be responsible for the maintenance and the over all care of the horses thereafter.   If you are packing into a remote location of Oregon, you  will  be  packing  feed for the  horses  as  well. Springs and water sources may be found on a forest service trail map.

Mountain Pass Ranch horses are experienced in packing game as well as equipment. However, you are responsible for the horses not limited to securing your packs and cinching your saddles. For those of you who do not ride often, we do not recommend a long ride in the saddle for more then six hours.
