As For Me And My House ... We Will Serve The Lord !

We are a pioneer family who came from decendants who crossed the Oregon trail in 1848. Kroh was the original name but changed to suit the American way on Ellis Island. The old Crow whiskey distillery was a part of our heritage. Warren Dunn (My husband) is related to Ulysies S Grant. Ironically,  the writer Teresa Dunn (The Wife) is  related to Jessie James.  The Zumwalt hunt in Wallowa County and Crow Creek in Halfway Oregon are both named after the writers  family as well . There is a town called Crow, Oregon that is also named after the writers family. Another bit of trivia for you rodeo buffs. Rankin Crow (The writers family) was known to have supplied rodeo broncs throughout the state for many years. The writers name changed from Crow to Dunn through marriage. The Dunn Girls currently own and operate Mountain Pass Ranch and we look forward to serving you with great horses for years to come!

Until We Meet Again Bran`!

We encourage youth who struggle with addiction in loving memory of our Son, Brother, Daddy, Husband and Friend. Bran` died from a lethal combination of prescription pills on June 9th 2007. One of the meds was prescribed to him by his doctor, the other was not. The man who distributed the methadone pill that killed him received a miniscule 22 days in the county jail. This is due to the felony scales of Oregon. Therefore, we are currently working to change those  laws. 

Methadone, OxyContin, Fentanyl, Percocets, and other narcotics continue to cause addiction, abuse and death in this country. Yet, they are still marketed and distributed in massive amounts providing a mainstream for addiction and sales on the streets.
