Age and Limitations
We have found that a cowboy hat, western boots, fabulous accent or a slow drawl does not grant the ability to handle horses no matter what the age.
Therefore ...All riders must demonstrate that they are capable of operating and maintaining their own horses. This applies to outfitters, children and adults.

The following is the standard weight limit that is used to retrieve an elk or a deer.
* Three horses for the average bull elk live weight being approximately 700 lbs
* Two horses for an average cow elk live weight being approximately 500 lbs
* One horse for the average buck or doe live weight of 200 pounds.
Horses generally operate in one game retrieval per day. We have additional horses available if you have a large and successful hunting party.
